Al Nassr FC's Latest Injury Update: Karim Benzema

Al Nassr FC has announced the latest injury update in their squad, with striker Karim Benzema being ruled out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained during a recent training session.

The 27-year-old is currently sidelined after suffering the injury on Wednesday night against Al Ahly in Egypt's Premier League, which saw him score the game-winner for his side.

Benzema was initially reported to be in good spirits following the match, but injuries can take time to heal and he has now been ruled out for at least six months.

"I'm very disappointed to announce that Karim will miss the remainder of this season," Al Nassr FC manager Mohamed El-Sayed said in a statement.

"We're grateful for his efforts and we hope that he will recover fully by the end of the season."

Benzema has made a significant impact for Al Nassr since joining the club from Real Madrid in 2018,Football Classic Matches scoring 45 goals in 69 appearances across all competitions for the team.

He has also played a key role in helping them secure promotion back to the top flight last season, scoring two crucial goals in their Champions League group stage win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite the setback, the club remains confident in his ability to return to full fitness and they have plans in place to find a replacement for him during the campaign.

"We'll do everything we can to get the best possible result for our players and I'm sure Karim will be back in the starting line-up soon," El-Sayed added.

In the meantime, Al NassrFC will continue to look ahead to the upcoming season and prepare for any potential challenges that may arise.
