Marcano's Latest Injury Status at FC Porto
Marco has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
The 27-year-old forward, who joined Porto from Napoli in January, suffered the injury during his side's 1-0 win over Sporting CP on Tuesday night.
"I am still recovering from my injury and I won't be able to play until early next week," Marco said after the game.
The Brazilian international was named man of the match against Sporting, but it looks like he'll miss out on many more games this season.
FC Porto have announced that they will not make any changes to their squad for the upcoming season,Saudi Pro League Focus as they look to strengthen their defense.
"We're confident that Marco will return soon and we will see him back in training once again," said coach Marcelino.
However, there is no word yet on whether Marco will be available for matches against rivals Benfica or the Portuguese national team.
The injury could potentially sideline him for several months, so fans will need to wait to find out more about his future.
